Have to agree with you here, I have seen some shiz that will make your head spin.

And the sad part is people accept it as good.

I do everything as if it were my own, or pickiest customer.

Had a guy look at me today like I was an alien because I hooked up my cable tester to verify my punch downs before I put everything back together.

I get those looks sometimes. Like when I tone DA speakers to determine which should be left and right. Most installers do not care....it is background music....no one cares about stereo in the bathroom....yada, yada, yada. But it would drive me nuts listening to Pink Floyd and the guitars were on the wrong side!

Or when I open equipment boxes I have a process which seems ocd to some. I put the batteries in the remotes, neatly stack all the paperwork, put all the packaging materials in the boxes, and stack all the boxes neatly away from the work area. I have worked with guys who were like the Tasmanian devil. There would be an explosion of cardboard, Styrofoam, manuals, twist ties, etc.

The van looked the same because when it was clean up time, they gathered the mess from the large open area, i.e., the house, and moved it to a much smaller confined space. Then they would complain the next morning when they had to clean it out to make room for another disaster.

Prepping for another Planar 4x4 Clarity Matrix wall. Also stretching fabric over the acoustical material.

Nice looking work!  I did a smaller Planar Mosaic wall last summer and was impressed with the quality and design.  Is that QuestAI fabric track?

Ouch. We have been using moving men for heavy lifting the last couple of years. It's not worth it...damaging something expensive or losing a finger or hurting your back. Let the 20 year old future line backers handle it.

The guy that lost his thumb stopped by the jobsite today and they were able to reattach it but his whole hand looks like a big Q-Tip!  I'm sure it will never be the same, but he said the surgeon was confident it will work properly.

He was walking by and another worker ask him to help move an outdoor lounge chair that was on the patio.  The back was propped up and fell when they moved it an his finger was in the wrong place...

I am a box keeper/repacker and run a spotless job site. I don't understand how anybody gets anything done kicking around in their own filth.

Box integrity and packing must be maintained, retaped shut so that they stack properly.

Keep my dyson hepa V6 by my side as I go.

I think Paul was just saying how it exactly happened, not that it happened again!
