Finally just about completed the Sound and lighting for the new Live venue opening next week in our area. Crown amps, EV tops and subs, Ev monitors. Yamaha LS9 Board, Touch screen computer for lights and dj software.

Doing sound check tonight with blues band. I will take some pics tonight and post them here. Pro-Audio is so much easier that Home Audio. It sounds amazing and the client is happy.

Going to be a good gig for my techs who will have a chance to make extra cash on the weekends to run sound.

Deep cleaning the van at the moment. My guys tease me about the disorder then make it worse.

Go three quotes due tomorrow and a gang of marketing this to tackle. Glad I don't have to waste my Sundays watching the lions.

Smh

Is the two post relay rack type frames just for your in house testing or are you actually installing these at the project that way? What do you do for cable management?

This is upgrading an existing system. Racks are already installed and full of equipment. Just tried to find the cheapest racks to do testing in shop. We have two regular racks already but they are being used for other projects, and were not enough space. Still have more equipment to install.

Anybody install the Speakercraft BoomTomb? I put one in this week with 5 Episode 6" rocks for an outdoor theater project. It sounded pretty darn good. Just wondering what others' thoughts are.

I was very interested inthat, but last i heard they were unavailable....how did you amp it and gow did you amp the episode rocks? I like the episode rocks, when you throw some power at them they sound pretty good, and imo beat anything in their price class.
Can you pm me where you sourced the boomtomb, and dealer cost....thx

I used the Speakercraft BassPower 250 (AMPX67250) for the sub. Episode rocks were fed by a Yamaha Aventage RX-A720.

What are you guys doing behind the racks? Id like to see some pics of that. On a full automation job, mine ends up looking like a mess no matter how hard i try to make it look pretty. I guess thats an art by itself.
