...Briremo... Lucky bastard! Watch out for the guy on the left... I think he likes you!!!

About 1/2 hour ago I was moving a sofa in this new little room in my basement...
It's going to be a little screening room / home office deal. I bought some paint to paint to spray out the ceiling in flat black. I only used a little bit of it, and had a good 3/4 gallons left as I really thinned it out to spray it, and it's a small area.

I had just put down the new dark blue carpeting Sunday.

I had an almost full gallon can of the flat black paint up on a rickety POS Ikea shelf system.
I managed to knock it off when trying to shove the couch back a little, and the hole can dumped right in the middle of the rug... I came upstairs to grab a towel as I got it all over my shoes and legs. My son saw that look in my eye (I was a little pissed)... he asked if he could help - but didn't ask what happened.

Fortunatly the carpet wasn't very expensive... but god I'm bummed.

Are you accepting new memebers to the "Tommy Bahama" Shirt Club?

I have a closet full of acceptable uniforms!

but they put in for emergency funding so who knows.... dealing with the government sucks sometimes.

only good thing going for us is that the guy in charge of the chicago office wants it done yesterday....so he's pushing to get us paid.

I cursed all day at my blown AC compressor in my Suburban... I know you guys deal with heat in the rest of the country but put up a 96 degree day in Washington and we f*&^%g melt!

I've been peeling my clothes that are stuck to me away (as well as other things we won't mention) Damn its hot! My poor dog looks like he's about to faint... I think he's sucked down at least a gallon of water today.

I left early so I could go jump into a lake!

Tomorrow is Ozzfest... 20,000 steaming hot people and another potential 90 degree'er on the way. At least I won't give a rats ass if I'm sweaty!

I promise to go back and actually work on Friday.

Took my new blue rug i dumped 3/4 a gallon of flat black latex on (last night), to the dump... dropped off my wagon at the mechanics (again)... Cleaned up and organised stuff in the basement and garage (landlord is visiting tomorrow).

Loading up truck for install tomorrow gotta leave @ 4:30 AM cause it's way up on opne of the islands.
Gotta call a builder and ask where his (promised), $12,000 deposit check is!!! (It's a week late)>
Should hit 100 + tomorrow --- No Air Con in my truck! :>(

It's hot as hell and I am getting a freakin cold... WTF

Coughing up flem all day and can barely stay awake. Plus the fact I don't sleep very well in the first place.

And to top it off, my tech locked himself out of the house on one of our big Crestron jobs. And we are almost finished, which mean we can finally get paid. But noooo

Client is out of town to boot... D'oh

Well, say hello to Mr. Osborne for me... I recall myself and a few other stooges lying around my friends parents house when the album with IRON MAN first came out... (I was a senior)... His dad comes home... "What in the hell is this sh*t you boys are listening to? -- As he takes the record off of the record player, opened the sliding glass doors and flung it into the bushes like it was a Frisbee!!!

...And what the hell is that smell in here??? Smells like a g#d damn Mexican Bonfire!!!

You kids get the hell out of the house now and go DO something!!!

It was far out, man! 8>0
