Customer called and said the remote was rebooting in a never ending cycle just would show the philips logo that says please wait then it would reboot. i tried to load a configuration file and see if that worked but it would reboot so i did the firmware repair option. the customers remote was paired with a rfx9400 in standalone mode. well now the remote starts up and i put the config file in it and it loads just fine but the rf icon never shows up. so i loaded our showroom file in it and its paired with a rfx9600 wireless connection and no wireless icon shows on remote. Is there anything else i could try or is this baby going to the repair center?

Sounds like it is going to the repair center. Ddi you do a "complete" firmware reload as documented on Philips site (requires press of Firm2,3,4 simultaneously IIRC)?

I had one do the same, rebooting in a never ending cycle! and then I did a full firmware reload and it did the same as yours "rf icon never shows up"

Sorry to say you'll have to send it in for repair, as I did!!
TSU9600, TSU9400, RFX9600, RFX9400, RU980, RU950, and the good old RU890 which stilll learns codes none of the others will!

Yep its at the repair center now, the control board was bad according to service wide tech and worst thing about it was it is a week out of warranty so $150 for the repair.
