My apologies if this question has been previously answered.

I own a TSU7000. When I launch the ProntoPro NG Simulator, the display representing my remote control appears life size on the computer. On the other hand, using the ProntoEdit Professional to judge the entries in "The Great Pronto Design Contest", the Pronto Simulator displays a small representation of the contestant's XCFs. It really doesn't give you the look or feel the way the ProntoPro NG Simulator does.

Is there any way to enlarge the display of the Pronto Simulator?

I dont think there is any way to resize the simulator due to the 640 by 480 resolution, it would appear absolutely huge. I think if they were able to show it at 50%, it would still look nice and you would be able to see more detail than the current size, which appears to be about 25%.

I've tried everything to no avail.

If one were running a desktop of 1600x1200 and were able to view the Simulator at full size whereby the screen area of the Simulator was 640x480 is would look like this. I'd be all for this as my preffered desktop resolution while using PEP is 1600x1200. Any desktop resolution below 1600x1200 doesn't allow for 4 pages at 100% zoom to fit on the screen at once without scrolling which would be a real pain. You also can't use the editor while the Simulator is running anyway (unlike PPENG), so it's not like you'd need to worry about the Simulator taking up most of the screen.

Yes, I would like multiple simulator resolutions as well up to 640x480, if only to make my life easier for system screenshots! I'm running a 1920x1200 desktop, so the current simulator screen size of 290x217 is positively tiny, smaller than the TSU7000's 240x320!

...And since it was brought up, it'd be nice if we could still use the editor while the simulator was open. When I find something "wrong" in the simulator I like to immediately open the page(s) in question in the editor, but right now I have to close my visual reference and then go by memory.

During the beta test I was rather strong in my opinion that the Simulator should run as a separate process so that we retain the ability to use the editor while the Simulator is running as we can with PPENG. I've also grown very accustomed to checking over my configuration file(s) via the Simulator making any needed changes/adjustments along the way in the editor. Not having this ability with PEP has been frustrating to say the least. The only saving grace in this regard has been the new ability to start the Simulator on any given page versus always having to start from the home page and the fact that the Simulator has no load time now. That being said, I still want to see the Simulator run as a separate process so we are not locked out of the editor while the Simulator is running. Perhaps there's still a chance this request will make it into a future update. Unfortunately, I can't recall whether or not I got any feedback on this from the Prontoteam during the beta test.

Also, regarding the statement I made in my prior reply shown below...

You
also can't use the editor while the Simulator is running
anyway (unlike PPENG), so it's not like you'd need to
worry about the Simulator taking up most of the screen.

Not a very good way to support the point I was making as I'm not in favor of the fact PEP's Simulator doesn't run as a separate process to begin with. (Guess I'm already resigned to the fact that we can't use both the editor and Simulator at the same time.) In fact, if PEP's Simulator did run as a separate process we'd be able to minimize the Simulator to the taskbar as we can now with PPENG's Simulator. That would certainly give one plenty of room to work with the editor while the Simulator (a much larger version of the Simulator than we have now) is still running.

It would be interesting if it were a separate process *and* was live updated from changes in the editor! :-)

Now we're talking. Going for it all! Why not. :-) While we're at it how about having the Simulator send signals from the remote as well if said remote was docked in the cradle and connected to the computer. This at one time was going to be supported by PEP's Simulator. Sadly, it did not make the cut. The enhanced simulation experience aside, imagine being able to remotely connect to your computer controlling your TSU9600 via the Simulator. Would make the perfect companion for something like the Slingbox PRO! You'd retain complete control of your A/V equipment via the Simulator/TSU9600 while being able to watch what's playing via Slingbox PRO's Slingplayer. While Slingbox PRO/Slingplayer does give you a certain level of control it certainly can't replace your Pronto. :-P
