Does anyone know if there is some type of tutorial or programing manual for PEPv2? I am referring to something different than the pronto help manual. I have been to vendor training but all they do is advertise their product with little or no programing help. I need to make these remotes work for me I have numerous customers asking for them.

Thanks for any and all help

Try searching the NG forum for "The Ultimate Pronto Guide". If you are using PEPv1, this software is very similar to the NG editors and pretty much all topics apply. However, if you are using PEPv2, then you should likely read the Help File.

I have had the same issues using PEPv2, just can't get a handle on it. Plus these make me like zero money so I may even give up on them, but then if I can get one going in our demo room maybe i would sell more. I know the old software back and forth but need to intergrate these with HAI systems. I also went to a training and it was pretty worthless other than look you can do this! Great now how!

I need to know how to really lay out a good system not just make it work. I know in the old remotes I would make a screen just for codes, add jump screens but I am a little lost if you do the same things here.

Hey programmer,

Shame to hear you're not very fond of these babies. They make a lot of money if you can make them shine, although with the way the economy is now, a lot of people can't even give stuff away.

Are you Level 2 certified yet? If so, there are multiple preconfigured Prontoscripts available specifically for HAI. HAI even has some posted on their website. Not sure whether they're the same though.

The best way to learn these things is to dive in and play with them.

You can still do this with PEP 2:

screens but I am a little lost if you do the same things here.

You might start with PEP 1, if you haven't really used it before, other than just with the basic functions. Learn some of the more in depth stuff on PEP 1, and then move back to PEP 2. Look and feel of PEP 2 is a lot different, but picking up the changes is pretty quick.
