Hi I just received my first pronto 9600 and when I downloaded the project I have been working on for a few days I get many errors in the log.

I do not care for the "Action removed..." because I know what is wrong there.
But on the " IR Code removed" I have no idea why they failed.

Sorry that I can't give any advice on this, but...

Is this a V2 feature or something, how come I've never seen an error log like this before? o.0

yes is V2. I worked around this issue; the problem was that two of the devices in the project were showing "invalid IR" (something corrupted). I had to reload marantz dvd and av receiver from Philips database to my database.

Apparently they break every time I open and close the project.

When you want to load your project in PEP2, while the project was made in PEP1, you have to follow a procedure which is well described at the Philips Pronto site. Otherwise you get a lot of error messages.

Stilll, it might be good to look at the PEP 2 preconditions like this one:

1. Make sure all the IR codes in the code pages have ascii names (no symbols)

My knowledge about the error messages is too restricted to help you further if this is not the case.
Take a look at the first of the sticky messages on top of the threads.

what version of PEP2 are you on?

it could be the fault that was fixed in one of the updates of PEP2.
make sure you update the editor, you should be on 2.1.18.

Once you have updated you also need to replace the faulty devices, by clicking "replace device" then just replace it with the same device.
