In preparation for getting a TSU9400 I have begun to put together a profile using ProntoEdit. I find that the display of the editor is too tall for my widescreen computer display. Is there any way to resize it? -- Changing the display resolution does it, but at a major loss of picture quality. Thanks

NO! WISH THERE WAS. The only thing you can do in PEPv2 is to zoom the page but when you do, you cannot see properties.

You might consider using PEPV1 to create your configuration instead of PEPv2 as you can see multiple pages, zoom all of them, and still have Properties available.

Lyndel -- Thanks. Seems as tho there "should" be a way, but Philips apparently felt otherwise (or didn't notice). I really like V2, particularly with the wizard as a starting point for programming, so I may have to switch display characteristics on a temp basis. Perhaps the version that includes the 9300 may be better -- let your friends at Philips know of the problem! :-)

Everyone is complaining that the size of the editor window is too small. You must the first saying that it is too big.

The size of the editor window is 754 pixels high by 1024 pixels wide.

Most monitors are at least 1024 pixels high. What is the resolution of your monitor?

V2 resolution sucks. On a 15" laptop monitor, my res is at 1280X800 (widescreen), and I have to have the text DPI turned down so low (to display everything) that I can barely see the text in V2. I literally have to move the laptop closer to me to use V2.

That seems a low resolution for a 15" display. Are you running it at its native resolution? It is generally bad for your eyes to not run an LCD display at its native resolution.

Yes it's native. It's a laptop, not a thousand-dollar display.

Thank you!! My monitor has been set at 1280X720 - thus the loss of the bottom of the screen. 1280X768 is not good at all, 1280X1024 is really small (make it larger, Philips!!) -- while 1440X900 is very clear (but still small). Seems as tho my monitor doesn't do 1024X768, which I thought was pretty standard (sigh). In any case, 1440X900 will work pretty well. Again - I appreciate your information (tho I doubt most monitors are 1024 pixels high :-))

1024 x 768 was standard for 4:3 standalone monitors. The most common resolution for standalone 4:3 monitors is now 1280 x 1024.

Widescreen sizes that I see on the Dell web site are 1280 x 768, 1920 x 1200, 1680 x 1050, 1366 x 768, 1440 x 900.

Notebook screen resolutions are all over the place. My Dell notebook is 1680 x 1050 and I have an attached monitor of 1920 x 1200. PEP is very hard to read on the big monitor.

Right now my monitor is 1920x1080 18.4" laptop, working on my file is just horrible. Everything is so tiny and tons of space is wasted with no way of resizing anything! I really wish philips would get on the ball with this because it can be done fairly easily on there part.
