Hi there,
I can’t get the TV Remote controller version 5.0 software to work with CCF macros on my iPaq H3970?
The hard buttons also do not work at all. Can anyone please offer me any advice?
My CCF file was for use with a European Pronto Pro would this make any difference? The iPaq is an Australian model. I have tried a few different CCF files with no luck.
One last question is does the PDA-ir IR Extender from Electric Dog support the 3970 series? Has anyone any idea if & when the Nevo software to utise the extended IR? Should I buy the extender or wait for a fix?
Regards,
Paul

I don't know about the 3970 but on the other iPAQs you have to copy the hardware button settings into each device. It is not inherited from the home panel as on the Pronto. I don't know what you macros are made from, but mine work. I remember though that I had to change some. There where some problems with an alias for an alias of a certain type.
Hope this helps

The Electric Dog IR extender works with TV Remote 4.0 & 5.0. I'm using it on a 3670 w/5.0 and it works great. In fact, PDAwin.com has a link on the TV Remote page to the Electric Dog site.
Good luck, Eric
