Hi fellowremoters,
I'm trying to change buttons in Omniremote so that for instance pressing button 1 sends out a hex code. I need to make my sony dvd player regionfree. In order to do that i need to send some hexcodes to my sony. Does anyone have an idea how to do this. I have no idea where in Omniremote i can enter hexcodes...

Hi. The new version of the software (Omniremote Pro) has an import/export feature that should allow what you want. I haven't yet been able to successfully use that feature myself, I am trying to find out why. If you don't have the Pro version of Omniremote, I believe ORDesktop would also allow you to do what you need. www.ordesktop.comMike
