Long time lurker, fist time to post. Great job to all. My question is, does anyone know of any PC driven software that will actually replace a physical remote(Pronto) to control my A/V equipment. I would like to control my equipment from my touch screen monitor that is connected to a windows based PC and not have a "table top" unit like a Pronto. Any help, links or suggestions would be great, thanks for reading.

you want to get a usb-uirt (ir blaster/receiver about $50) you want girder (beware..you'll spend lots of time on the girder website to get it working...but it is capable of running a nuclear plant once you figure out how to get it working)
