found a song i had not heard before
Al Wilsons Broken home ..the feeling in the vocals is amazing to me.

I also love the lyrics , this song reminds me of my wife ..when i first met her ,she and i were just 15 year old kids , her father was an aggressive alcoholic , they got an injunction out on him and stayed in a battered wives home for a while then they had moved from the area they had lived ..to a rough social housing estate near where i lived, thats when i met her ,he found out where they had moved to.He turned up drunk at her school demanding to see his kids he was turned away but found where she was living and smashed the doors and windows. we eventually sorted it out he was arrested and me and my wife built our own new home from that broken one. we have been through ups and downs and real tough times but nothing like when we first met , the optimism at the end of the song of fixing up the broken home really gets to me ..so that's why i like this song

Funny how songs bring back old memory's. I have quite a few that I can't make it through.
Instead of asking me why my price is high ask the other guys why they are low.

Had some free time the other day.

Found a great version of "Flip Flop and Fly" by Bryan Lee, with Kenny Wayne Shephard on guitar.

Also downloaded
"Come on Home" by Roomful of Blues
"Amarillo Highway" (live) by Robert Earl Keen
"Tootsie Roll" by Verlon Thompson
"Mercedes Benz" (live) by Concrete Blond

Rhythm of the Saints is a great CD.
In a semi dark room fairly loud, it's hard to beat.

I really like this version of Daimonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes.

Florence and the Machine "Dog Days" is a cool song.
Super complex but very well recorded.
Great demo track for the right person.

Caught Paul Simon last week, GREAT show. Played a couple songs from Rhythm of the Saints, my favorite.

Hope to catch Florence and the Machine next week, Summer music festival time. :). Bought the most recent album, still need to give it a careful listen.

Phenomenal album: My Morning Jacket, Z. Will find links. Having trouble ripping the CD, so can't play off of music server; some sort of DRM issue. Will try FLAC.

Edit
song Gideon

The album It Still Moves is also awesome.
song Golden

And on heaven's golden shore we'll lay our heads
