I pretty much have my setup completely programmed in SB, but have a couple issues hoping to get help with:

I'm trying to remove some of the submenus for my Cable TV source that were auto generated (controlled by the MORE button) on a PTX3. While I am able to remove the extra pages VTPro, I'm having a difficutly linking the remaining two pages to appear after clicking on the Cable TV source button and being able to cycle via the MORE button.

I have a few rooms setup with audio via the PAMP-4X100, while I do have the rooms setup in SB and can cycle through them, the source buttons for each room open the controls of that source instead of toggling the source on and off. Is there a way to modify this?

Yes, all possible.  You have complete control over how the UI moves around, and what gets shown.

Thanks, but I was looking for some pointers on getting these two done as I was having issues noted in the first post.

I'd need to see your program to understand your difficulty.
could you email me a screenshot of the area in question?

The MORE pages are grouped in folders at the top of the file in VTProe. When you delete pages from a folder that is referencing them it can cause problems in the entire group sometimes. Just recently I added a basic button on a page in an MTX-3 that was part of a group. While it appeared correctly on the page in the program, when I load the project, no button. When I went to the page group folder for that source I deleced the pages and then dragged them back into the folder again. After recompiling and sending to the remote it appeared as programmed. The only problem for you might be is that I did this running a Simpl windows program and a VTProe program so modifying things like this is easy. In systembuilder things are automatically generated unless you've checked the boxes to not regenerate programming for the interface anymore. You might be able to open the VTProe file from the systembuilder files manually, make changes and load but once you start manually dealing with files from there things might "break" an you'll have buggy problems or failures afterwards. We abandoned systembuilder years ago because we found out that it was fast and usually created a pretty good project the FIRST time - however after a little time goes by and you want to make a minor change it seemed like one nightmare after another to get things rebuilt correctly. Hopefully you can get it working.

In VTP go to Tools->Hard Button Manager.

Go to the Cable TV page ( the 1st one that loads up) and tell the side button to Page Flip to the next page you want.

Then go to that page and Page Flip to the 3rd.

Go to 3rd and Page Flip to the first.

That will be the easiest way to do it in SB

I gave this a try, it did work to a degree, when the Cable TV source is selected, the first blank page is loaded, and if i press the MORE button, then it cycles between the two correct pages.

In VTP under Cable TV, that blank page is labeled as , but even when I modify this page, something gets broken and when clicking on the Cable TV source on the remote, it never goes into the subpages.

I also get the following error after an upload in SB, but everything still works fine:
"Errors Encountered While Performing Post-Upload Tasks... Error while dleeting *_MasterList.txt".

copy page 2 to the blank page, copy page 3 to page 2. delete page 3. change page flips for blank to 2 and 2 to blank.

problem solved?

that error sounds like a problem with the Dynamic Presets Extender, and since you really don't want to kill the master list I Wouldn't worry.

If you want a certain page to open when you select your source you have to open the page you want and look for the page feed back join option. Set the page fb join to " on source cable tv sect fb". Ignore the error you were getting. It just deals with the preset extenders and is irrelevant.
