First off all, thank you CrestronHQ for chiming in. I think many integrators really value when manufactures take the time to participate in these forums. It is a great tool and resource. For some of us these forums our in our top 3 resources for developing our business and creating reliable, great user experiences.

So again, thank you.

ON this, I haven't heard for sure on the pricing other than they pricing will be simliar. I know the MLX3 and MTX3 are comparable. The new full line PAMP version is still TBA.

The ONE thing that I'm concerned about is the lack of an entry level processor. From what I understand the MC3 is more powerful than the Prodigy's PMC3. I also know that the current MC3 retails for twice that of the PMC3.

PRodigy has been successful in my opinion because of its well featured, but limited, entry level processor. Is there any word if there will be a price change on the MC3 or if there will be a lower end version that is simliar to the PMC3 to keep the pricing competive.

The fact is that the current MC3 pricing paired with any of the Crestron remotes is just too high to keep Crestron in every project (which is what we want).

Thanks again for participating.

If you are comparing processor prices, I think the PMC3-XP is the Prodigy piece comparable to the MC3 at the same price.

I agree with your thoughts on the price of the entry level processor and remote. It will be hard to put the PMC3 with a remote in those entry systems where the PMC2+/PTX3 combo was used.

You're right, actually the XP was even more. But I'm comparing the standard PMC3

The great thing with Prodigy making it competitive is the packaged discounts. The PMC3 is $800 and the PLX3 is $500, but the combo is only $1200, This is a good level IMO to be at. Most people use URC or RTI at this price and of course C4.

do wino hue?
