Im pretty sure it's just TCP that's needed, but it was originally both. I changed it to just TCP shortly before taking the screenshot.

I am using the wifi and not the 3g.

I got it to upload the local file finally and it works that way now, but being the perfectionist I am, I refuse to accept just that. I need/want to connect natively and not use the local file but i feel like I've tried every option. It's silly that it works with the local file but not off the process

Using the local file gives you the ability to have a project up to 64GB in size, local file is a MUCH better and faster way to go. Also if you are only connecting though wi-fi theres no reason to play with port forwarding in the router.

And yes its all TCP, only thing I know of that uses UDP is kscape

Hey Guys,

The name of cgav's project is the issue, SIMPL Windows cannot have spaces in the file name that you put in as the "Default project name". My current system has the file name of "IPAD_Program" in the iPhone and iPod touch interface, this also needs to be the same as the name of your VT Pro file that you upload directly to your iPad through toolbox. Also the port 1 and port 2 lines these relate to port A and B in Mobile Pro G.

On a side note you also need to make sure you have both of the iPad interface to control system via TCP servers in your program at the configure stage.

Hope this helps,

Ben

There have been a ton of issues with the weather module lately. Never worked on the PMC3, and I read a notice from Crestron the other day saying it was broken on a bunch of other processors now as well. They said they were working on it. I wouldn't sweat it until you hear different from TB.
