Two Things, first, I downloaded the new iPad GUI but it looks like it is an older version of the one you see on the demo version of the Mobile Pro G, when loaded in the iPad. Second, Do you know if this GUI can be used with the PMC2 processor? every time I try to upload I get an error that saying that the internal flash memry is insufficient.

You can only add 1 Crestron Mobile gui to a Prodigy PMC2 system. If you have an Iphone in there that is probably why it doesn't have enough memory.

I do not habe any other interface but the iPad. I tried by simple opening the downloaded example program, then replace the processor from a PRO2 to a PMC2 and tried uploading it but still says that there is not enough flash memory

What iPad template are you guys using? Since I have not been able to use the template that is in the mobile pro demo, I have been using the only template that is available in systembuilder. However, I hate that template because when you rotate the iPad to landscape, everything is stretched and it looks horrible. Anyway to not allow the template to stretch?

Use command fusion for your iPad app and it will not stretch when the iPad is turned to landscape. It's the only one I have used that didn't do that so far.

Where can I get that template from?? how do you import templates into SB? I downloaded the destiny template but do not know how to make it one of my templates in SB. Also, has anyone used the nice template that is in the demo of mobile pro G?

Leos, if the vtpro doesn't look like the Demo program you have downloaded the wrong one. There are three iPad vtpro files on the Crestron site that you can choose from. You want the lowest one on the list "IPAD ROTATION GESTURE".

This is due to the file size of the iPad app. When I talked to Crestron a couple months ago they said it is highly recommended that this app only be used with expandable memory processors as they are not likely to fit on Adagio or Prodigy. The only thing they could suggest is to wait for the new version of the app to be released from Apple as the app will store the information onto the iPad rather than the processor.

Like Lites has stated this CANNOT become a SB template. Like it has been stated twice in previous posts, every time you add an iPad to your project click on the check box that says build all pages. Then browse to the location you have saved the vtpro file and select it.

No I have not used the demo template in an app yet as we do all our projects in Adagio therefore are restricted to the amount of space on the processor. For now it is easier for us to use the destiny template and wait for the app update to be released before we upgrade.

This is true. Can now have Analog FB on the Mobile Pro G!! About time. Last I heard this was to be realeased in February, March at the latest. They were waiting for Apple to approve the update so maybe it took longer than originally anticipated.

Either way I am glad this has happened, I am now in the middle of altering two programs to accommodate the guages... What a PITA

I'm very interested in how having the project stored on the iDevice improves preformance and options. Anyone doing this, please keep us posted.

I just talked to tech support this morning about how to transfer existing programming to the improved Mobile Pro G and it looks like I'll have to add it in as a new interface and redo all of the custom graphics and programming I created. When downloaded directly into the iPad, he promised me it would load faster than it did before when the app opens - this is all I'm really hoping for.

Is there any special method or anything we do differently to load the project to the iDevice?

Stay away from the IPAD and Creston its extremely unreliable, Pop-up pages dont work correctly and various other issues.

BTW- I am a certified Crestron Programmer and would never use an IPAD in a system again. I would do a Remote desktop connection which is much more accurate and reliable.
