Seriously? I have been using mx 800s and 850s for years and when the 950 came out I got 5 of them to sell. Well I still have 4 over a year later because I can not get them to work reliably with RF. I have tried on a number of occasions and the results have been spotty at best. Ive sold over 200 URC devices between th3 mx600-650-350-800-850-900 and for the most part until the recall of the mrf250 last year had little problems. Now it seems the only thing that works is RTI.......... I really like the URC stuff and the price point is much different then the RTI stuff. Anyone...?..?....?

You usally get what you pay for, but the MX-950 is a pretty reliable remote and has been solid for me. What type of base unit are you using? Do you have RF issues due to to interference? You need to be more specific about your problems. Most problems have fixes or contingency procedures that need to be addressed before you give up on it.

I haven't had any issues with the MX-950 either, especially when used with an MRF-350 or MSC-400. It's RF performance has been no different than any other PC programmable URC remote (they all use the narrow band transmitter these days). In fact, I've been using an MX-950/MRF-350 combo in my home for years now with 100% reliability.

My MX950 worked very well (except for the clock) until I upgraded to Vista!
