I asked around for an answer (I don't use a remote on
my XBOX360). The 360 doesn't have discrete codes for
ON or OFF, just a toggle POWER. We can't add that which
doesn't exist!

Jeff

I am pretty sure there is discrete power for the 360. I definitely had it working on a Pronto file, and I taught it into a customer's 950. Let me know if you'd like to try the codes.

I'd love to try them, if you can send me a file ([email protected]).

Thanks,

Jeff

I'd be grateful to see the discrete xbox360 power codes as well. Can email you about them? There's no PM on this forum.

Jeff,

Thanks for looking. Please reply back if the pronto file works on an mx-850. It'd be wonderful to have discrete codes!

Sorry it took a little while to get this to you, but some people have to actually program these things for customers during the week ;).

Jottle-
I sent you a 900 file earlier on Friday, then an 850 file later that evening. I was waiting to hear from you on whether it worked for you or not. I also sent the codes to flandon and Jeff Wagner.

Still waiting to hear about those codes, guys.

Please keep in mind that we cannot list every single device
by every single manufacturer - if we did it would take
hours to do a live update and you'd need many gigabytes
of space just to store it on your computer.

That being said, we do add new models on a regular basis,
but this only happens if the new model uses a different
code set than a previous model.

In addition, if you are dealing with a brand that you
are not familiar with and you don't see a model number
that is close you can always use the generic code set
at the end of the list. You'll see something like Sony1,
Sony2, Sony3...Sony15 with the highest number reflecting
the most recent code set and number one being the oldest.

Hope that helps,

Jeff

hi jeff

love the rx3000 ... best remote i've used by far.

i'm trying to interface to my new ATT Uverse System. the box is model VIP1216 made by Motorola. i've tried all the generic code sets (under cable) ... none work.

do you happen to know which set might work best?

thanks
al

I would suggest putting as few hours on your 360 as possible! The XBOX button always turns it on so I just put the XBOX button in my Watch XBOX macro string and then I ALWAYS hit the power button when done. This puppy sounds like a 747 taking off when it is running and the fewer hours you put on it the longer it will be before the evil red ring of death visits your console. Anyone using an XBOX should be savvy enough to not require discretes.

Any luck with the 360 codes? Could you send me the file too? I'd like to try.

Hey Marsht, I would like to play with those codes. Any format is fine I am a URC AD and have all the editors. Even though I follow my advice from above I still would benefit from the codes. Maybe I can pay you back sometime with the 10gb of files we have created in the last 5 years. My email should be easy to find.
