Anyone check it out? It will take some getting used to. I would rather they have left the old dealer portal alone and revamped their website. It is the worst one I have to deal with. Its the only site I think I have ever dealt with where they don't simply have a link or pull down with all their product easily displayed. Clients have to search for everything on there. Wouldn't hurt to throw their policies right on the front page also to make it very clear so people don't end up in a bad spot like is all too common unfortunately.

To be honest, I agree. I will try and give it some time to get used to it. I hate whenever any site changes. You get used to the layouts and then they change.

You still can't search for anything 3 letters or less (like CCP or USB) or even remote models where the hyphen doesn't count, so it looks like two words of two and three letters (like MX-780).

To clarify, you are speaking about the Dealer Only portal? When would a client have to search for anything on the dealer only portal??? What policies would you like shown, specific to dealers only?
or
You don't like the new dealer only portal and in a separate statement you meant to say the URC public site "is the worst one I have to deal with. Speaking of the public site, I think each product page should also list the MSRP for the product and a link to the dealer locator. I recently had a call from someone who lost a remote due to flooding in his basement and wanted a webpage where the MSRP was listed for insurance purposes.

Man, is everyone becoming an Ernie on this site?

The site is so damn serious! No way as flashy or user friendly.

Well, as the one who developed the new URC Control Room - I am happy to hear your issues with the site so we can resolve them for you. I have a new forum specifically designed to hear these ideas, questions, and concerns so they can be addressed. Thus far I believe we have came to a great solution on all issues that have arisen.

The public website is being revamped as well - it is just going to take longer (I'm not apart of that upgrade - so I can't provide much information). I know the Marketing Team has some really great ideas to make it very end-user friendly and easy to navigate. Stay tuned for the official announcements on that. It should be a complete re-write of the site so expect it to be pretty awesome!

As for your issue with "3 letter search" it has always worked in the Knowledge Center. This is not easy to provide on the Forums side since it uses MySQL searching and that is limited by default by all modern versions of MySQL. I am working on this though - so hopefully I can resolve the issue in the next hour or two.

And now 3 letter search should be working. Also you should be able to search specific models such as mx-980 without issue.
