We are having a hard time with the app disconnecting from the mrx when it either sits for 10 minutes or if you move between waps. Anyone else having this issue? If so, did you find a fix? Very frustrating.

Why do people insist on replying with such stupid comments like this? This is a forum, he's asking a question. We ALL do that. If we didn't, there would be no forum.

Sorry. Didn't mean to jump down your throat. I've been so crazy busy lately, and just picture myself in his position looking for some help. I wouldn't have time for such comments. I do believe what I said in that this is a forum for such discussions. Everyone can learn from the answers to everyone's questions. I am sorry though for being harsh.

I "won" a iPad license while in training. I have been waiting for it to arrive for a month. I want to try it out before I sell any, which I typically do with any new remote. I could just by a license, but I'm just being cheap :-D

Had all sorts of problems when doing our first iPad ios system. I was using my newest laptop and couldn't get the laptop to see the MRX-1 and download the software to the iPad.

After a few hours of trying everything ...I pulled out my old Toshiba laptop and it connected immediately. Turned out it was some malware that was causing firewall issues that was interfering with the connection.

So, if you are having problems check the firewall settings and if possible try another laptop.

Tech support didn't offer a solution. They said it should work.

To add insult to injury, after the Ipad and the MRX disconnect, the only way to get them connected again is to turn the wireless off on the ipad, kill the app and start all over.

arrrrrgh!

Did you try a different laptop? In my first installation I couldn't connect using my toto laptop. Finally, i pulled out my old backup laptop and had no problems. Turned out there was firewall/virus protection settings on the first laptop preventing the laptop from communicating with the MRX-1.

Did you try setting up the Mrx-1 and iPad app on a different network? This would see if there is something with the customers network that is preventing communicating between the pc and the MRX-1.
