Hi All,
Just installed a MX3000 but have noticed one of the codes doesn't work correctly.
On a yamaha RX3000 receiver, when you press the DVD button it turns the receiver to TV. All the other buttons seem to do what they are programmed to do with the built in database, but not the DVD.
I tried learning it but it doesn't seem to work at all from the learned code. (did the learning, got the "good" acknowledgement and then saved it and downloaded it)
Any thoughts?

Try making a temp device and import a different yamaha receiver to it and see if the button works. If it does, save the one code from the other receiver to yours in the remote.
I've had this happen on occasion with denon receivers (not all the inputs work, or some point to different devices, as you said above).
