My beloved niece pulled the N key off an otherwise OK laptop. My girlfriend continues to use said laptop and depressurizes the little air pocket now you have to press hard. (I couldnt just clip the key back on because the plastic prongs broke off. According to local pros, the whole keyboard would now have to be replaced (as opposed to just the button.) which may not be worth it unless I can do it myself.
If I find another old D610, is it really that hard to replace the keyboard, OR is there a Rube Goldberg or a way to rig this...I was thinking about injecting a tiny amount of silicone into the bubble w/ a syringe just to get by for awhile. Any other ideas?
