I noticed a few of you with custom Sonos graphics. Are you actually controlling your Sonos system with your URC remote?
If so, is there anything special you need to do to program it as I was not aware that this was possible.
No, mine just switches my A/V receiver to the Sonos input and turns off the TV, etc. I still have to use my Sonos controller to do anything with it.
Sonos can be controlled by custom-written clients, but they need to speak SOAP. That's not a trivial protocol to use, even if the client has SOAP abilities. I know that some people have written their own SOAP controllers but it's just so much work, and the official controllers are far better.
