Here is my, or I should say my father-in-law's dilemma. He lives in a fringe area north of Orangeville, On. He has a pretty good antenna setup on a 40 foot tower with a pre-amp. Since the U.S. switchover he lost all of the American stations he used to get via analog. He recently picked up a Maxent 37" LCD flatscreen (MX37X3) which is HDTV compatible but does not have a digital tuner. It has one DVI input as well as 2 Component inputs. All of the digital boxes I have seen sold only "down convert", that is convert from a digital signal to analog. He needs to convert his RF coax from the antenna to either DVI or Component cable. Any thoughts would be most welcome. Thanks as always!
