The Escient products have a Media Manager, so if you have the appropriate changer they can control and track the the meta data for you. They do not rip the DVDs to drives. I believe Nevo has a 2-way driver to control the Escient Systems that will give you basic non-graphical meta data on the remote itself. check out www.escient.com
