Do you want a RF remote so you can put the devices in a cabinet or closet, or will they all be IR line-of-sight?
Keep in mind that if you build a macro (activity) to turn on the TV/Audio/Cable/DVD and switch the inputs of these, using IR only you'll have to point the remote at the stack of gear while the entire macro fires, otherwise you may lose a step.
RF eliminates the need to point and hold.
