Hi,

I am considering adding a MSC-400 to my setup.

One of the reasons I was considering the MSC-400 was for the RS-232 control offered by the MSC. I was under the impression that I would be able to use the MSC-400 for all commands that would need to be sent to my receiver.

However, I have been playing around in CCP to determine how I would configure my remotes. It doesn't appear that there is a way to directly map an entire device to a remote that is to be controlled through the MSC. Is this correct or is there a way that I am missing.

In other words, if I wanted to control the device by IR/RF, I could go to Program, create names and devices, add some pages, and save all the IR commands to the pages and CCP automatically maps the commands to buttons.

Is there a way to do the same thing only have CCP map the serial commands to all of those buttons or is the only way to create Smart Macros and manually map all the buttons?
