When I purchased my MX 980 I was totally aware it was designed to be programed by a professional!!!

The best remotes always are.

As long as the dealer was willing to share the software, I was willing to put in the time to program it myself.
I am not a professional software developer or industry genius.
In the end, I found it to be pretty easy to create a first class control system.

Did you just walk by the remote section in a store, pick up a box, and decide to make an impulse purchase based on what the packaging said?
Did you buy the remote on line and find this out after the fact?

I find it hard to believe a professional such as yourself would be so naive.

Were you Deceived or is your Ego so Huge that you thought URC policy could not possibly apply to you?

How about some professional thoughts on the actual programming or what you think of the actual product.
How did it turn out? 
This would be more interesting and informative for everyone, than complaining about something I'm 99% sure you were aware of to begin with.

I'm tired of hearing about it.
