You mean RF remotes (no more pointing). RF requires a RF capable remote (only the AR has that), and a RF receiver. The upside is that you don't have to point and hold the remote at your stack of gear while it spits out a 10 second macro. It also lets you hide your equipment behind a door, so little fingers will be less likely to put the peanut butter sandwich in the CD jukebox. The downside is the extra RF receiver, and setting it up correctly to eliminate interference. So if RF is a consideration, you may also want to look at the URC MX450 or MX900 remotes and MRF260 or MRF360 RF Receivers.
