If you have 7 boxes feeding 7 TVs, even if all 7 TVs use the same remote, you're using a system with 8 remotes at a minimum, or 14+ at max (+ is for AVR if one or more are involved).
Do yourself, your family and your friends a favor, use part of your tax return to hire a pro and at least learn what your options are for getting total control from 1 remote. Trust me, you'll love it.
