Brody - yeah, I too have a serious issue with all of the remote manufacturers (the CI-type manufacturers) who are not ready for a new operating system. They all make Windows apps so they must be a part of the Windows developer community. They all know XX months in advance it is coming and Microsoft helps them with the various developer toolkits and all of that. Yet they all seem to sit on their hands and do nothing to put a version together before Microsoft releases the product. Then they finally get around to fixing their software about 6-12 months after the fact. How much energy and resources does it really take to update an app to make it ready for the next operating system? I guess as an ex-computer guy for 20+ years I have little tolerance for app makers who cannot stay up to the standard.
