How much of a custom UI can you really do on a PLX2? (or Crestron Equivalent)?
I'd love to see a screen shot or something.
You can simplify the layout considerably by getting rid of all the unused buttons for equipment that is not installed in the house. You can lower the amount of page flips. Tie in an alarm system (try doing that with Composer). Simple things make a big difference.
As far as screen shots, MLX/PLX-2's really don't show you how they work. The screen shots look like DOS......
