Replace the Panasonic, they're problematic and will not work if you have HDMI baluns in the video path. It seems that Panasonic decided to save money on the HDMI side of things on their new BD series players (resulting in sketchy EDIC voltages). The HDMI cables have to be of good to very good quality for the player to work. You could use an Ethereal DAD, but that's almost the price of the player.
The new Panasonic BD players are not like the old S77 that a lot of us used and loved.
