It is not so much that the Denon doesnt respond between commands. It is just that the first time I send a command to turn on, the Denon ignores it unless I try it again.. as if it requires me to send the same command twice. I modified the Macro to send the same command twice and it seems to work(90% of the time) but I am not too happy with that workaround. I have started having a similar issue with a Denon 1940CI DVD player (less often than the 4806CI receiver). My observation has been that commands via IR flashers are far more reliable than those sent via RS232 and this somehow seems bizarre..I thought it was the other way around.

Another issue is with the Volume up and Volume down.. It seems to go up in really small increments and in order to reduce the volume from say -20 to -30, I need to press the volume down button 20times.. I am still looking for this fix.
