hold on............ thats exactly the same Hex string you posted in post #20 above!

the Hex code i posted was RC5 device 17 function 123, power on for an Arcam tuner, it would seem through your converter program it is changed to RC5x device 0 function 0. this code won't work any more with my Arcam.

please don't take this the wrong way, but, are you sure you're using this program correctly?

i can't seem to get hold of a copy of it, Kevin has emailed me a copy but crappy Hotmail has blocked it! maybe it needed to be zipped?
