Ahh but wait this utility, not only converts RC5, it also fixes bad RC5X and RC6, validating against the original NEC.  It also makes RC5 out of NEC which I believe was its original purpose. put in the compressed code and it spits out the whole string. I used to use make hex until I found this, I will upload it to this site, I thought it was already posted here?
