This is a strange thread to me. I have about 50 or so MX 810s in the field and none of them have had problems with the exception of one that the charger was tripped over ripping the wall wart out and breaking off a prong. I replaced the wall wart and there was no damage to the remote at all. I use the 810s for kids rooms and guest quarters so they see more abuse then any of the other remotes I carry.

I wonder if there was a bad batch somewhere along the way that I was fortunate enough to miss????

Maybe I will send one to Roddy and see how long it lasts. If it doesn't break for him then I will deem it bulletproof!
