Nope, for a $100 more you'll get a recharging base and no plug. It's called a MX980 and it's a much better remote overall. If the MX880 shipped with a bent pin, I would get it replaced immediately, but this sounds like another issue altogether. Do you have the same problem with your cell phone charger?
i like the 880 feel and cost for a secondary remote. theaters get a 980. i just think urc could come up with a better charging system for the 880 whether its a base or a different plug for the charger.
the MX-880 didn't ship with a bent pin. the customer somehow broke it...
all cell phones we have owned for the last several years have don't have a pin for a charger. iphone, razor, 3 diff samsungs, other motorolas...i guess the cell phone manufacturers realized the pin wasn't a good idea and couldn't stand up to the abuse and have all redesigned their chargers.
