[Lecture mode] A week or so ago, over at AVS, you asked how to make your remote work, but didn't bother to say which remote. After prompting, you provided a picture, and the remote was identified as a Atlas 1054, and eventually the problem was solved. Today you've asked for help here, but haven't bothered to tell us which model! As it happens, that isn't too important for the Vizio, but Insignia components are made by several manufacturers, and we have to know the model number to have any chance of helping.

The correct setup code for Vizio TVs is 1758, but the 8910 doesn't have this setup loaded. The Atlas does, though.

As Edmund says, 0178 will control power, volume and channels. Many other functions won't work.

You can assign Advanced Codes (also called Extended Function Codes) to buttons, and get the desired functionality. This termed a keymove.
