We've done dozens of 810s and 880s and haven't seen this issue, though. Maybe the problem is w/ the charger plug?

I went down to Best Buy to look at the 880 & 980. The problem was quite obvious after seeing the 880: the charging pin in the remote was bent. Actually two straight remotes had bent (and loose) charging pins.
I am surprised URC would have such a basic quality problem. You would think that they would test the units before packaging?
