Let me expand on this
Pins 7 & 8 are ground just tie them together
Pins 6 & 3 are IR tie those together
Pins 5 & 4 are + 16 volts
Pin 2 is RS-485 +
Pin 1 is RS-485 -

This is 5 conductors you have all that you need not only for control function but also 2 way control via RS 485, this is true of all the touch panels.
all you need is an adapter that goes from the 4 Cond+ shield to RJ45 on the controller side the other side will be a CB 4's and they already have screw terminals
