Ok these remotes are total shit.
I hate to say it - but because of this release I have lost all respect for Nevo.

I spent a lot of time with Nevo and installing their remotes on hopes that they would eventually expand their lineup.

They basically made a remote for accoustic research to be soldnin best buy -
and rebranded it with a Nevo logo. It's mainly a best buy remote.

So why is this remote shit?
You can't use two different rf bases when they are in range of eachother.
You can't pair a remote with an rf base - they are not addressable.
So the remte will receive any commands it gets from whatever remote is near it.

It's an insult to put the Nevo name on this remote.they say the next addition to Nevo will be 3.0 software in about a year and nothing else till then.

I officially am giving up on Nevo and any new products.

Looks like I'm leaning towards mx450 for our low end ( with mrf260) and crestron prodigy for our mid end.

Goodbye Nevo and thanks for the ride.

Hate to say "I told you so," but...... This was a key part of my point- that these appear to be run-of-the-mill mass market remotes, and that it seems silly to expect people to pay for custom installation of something like that when they can (literally, it appears) go pick one up at Best Buy.
