2Many,
PEP2 is a memory hog. I have an older XP laptop with 512M of RAM and PEP2 is sluggish on that machine. On a Vista 64 desktop with lots of RAM, PEP2 is peppy. Adding more RAM would be a cheap upgrade. I will not take my own advice because the memory sockets on that machine are known for causing trouble. Upsetting the sockets by swapping RAM would be a major blunder.
The Vista machine is in a different location (with no Prontos), but I do most of my major programming on the desktop and transfer the file to the laptop using a USB dongle or I can upload the program to a server and fetch the program from anywhere. One must be careful to keep MyDatbase synchronized on the various machines.
The HID issue is a major problem for some users.
