Have been looking in to the power cord issue just today. It is all fairly new to me, I didn't even kow the 9600 existed until a few weeks ago. Have bought may universal remotes an none of them come close to the 9600 capabilites.

Just started reading about the RF possibilites. I have a lot of 'learning' to do. (sorry couldn't resist)

So far I'm delighted with the 9600, except a minor driver problem (HID). So using another less powerful PC for the moment, just a bit slower when using the database, but I can live with that (for now).
