My first post and already I'm looking for help.

I got my Pronto 9600 yesterday, though I've spent a week or so with PEP2. Everything is good so far except IR learning problem.

The database codes for my Logitech Z5500 amp are from the O1R database (Logitech - Amplifier - Codeset 1435). All the functions work, but there are three codes missing.

The original Z5500 remote has 3 input buttons, Optical, Coaxial and Direct. The O1R codes only have an Input Toggle which doesn't quite meet my requirements.

I added the 3 functions and used the database learning function for the 3 missing codes but I get warnings for all three. I was warned that they were out of range for the 9600.

Strangely when I click on the database test button for these three codes they work. They do select the correct inputs on my Z5500 amp.

According to PEP2 help if a code has a warning it won't download to the 9600. I've tried and it doesn't.

Why do I get 'out of range' warnings and yet the test button operates my Z5500?

TIA for any help.
"Home" is where my Pronto is.
