I think I was mistaken. I went back to the Samsung Mount and the connection it has instead of saying EX-Link actually says EX-Line. Everybody seemed to be talking about Ex-Link so I assumed I misread it and I went back and it actually does say EX-Line. I don't know if they're the same thing but I get no results when I search for it. I found someone who had the binary codes for up, down, left, right and memory positions but I have no idea what this connector is expecting in signals over this line. I might have to give up on this project. Thanks for your help.
