I totally agree with your last comment. I was blessed to have already learned the Lexicon remote programming system, which was done by RTI. I then taught myself Crestron SmarTouch, more compilcated than that, and finally learned Pronto/Marantz programming. After those first two, the Pronto learning curve was mostly "what were they thinking?" instead of learning programming concepts. I have since learned URC programming, and again, it's "What were they thinking?"
I supplied information that would help after the basic ccf is done because you're going to want to know about it the very moment that you have mastered the basic part.
