You'll also need Touch Screen Setup, which you can get in the Files section here. Upload from the remote to the computer (that direction is always called upload). I assume you can then import the ccf to the 9400 software. If not, you might need to get one of the intermediate remotes' software, import to there, then open that pcf in the 9400 editor...if you can.

Lacking that, you can click on each command, view the hex code, and copy from there to paste into a similar window in the 9400 software.

If you don't have a serial port, the Keyspan single-RS232 port USB adaptor is the product that always works. I've heard it described that way on this site, I've heard of complaints about other adaptors not doing one thing or another, and mine has always worked every time.
