You managed to be in a place that is both true to your theme but not overboard. Floating the content place mat over the fixed background is a simple yet nice touch that adds to your ability to stay in a theme but at the same time not having a viewer be distracted by the theme. The theme is defiantly not overpowering the content. I think having that background image blown up so you see just part of a board really helps with this.
Another thing I like about keeping to the muted tea stain colors of the theme is that vibrate color contrast of your actual gui and button work (compared to the background & themed buttons) causes these highlighted works to now jump off the page. This makes it easier, as a viewer, to be focused on what you are trying to show me.
Good Job!
Question: Why the date tags? are you planning to update often like a blog or is it more for your organization?
Peace - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
