yes your kit will be fine but you need to make sure you are using a standard 4 wire out lnb on the dish to go to the swm-e2.

they now make a new dish called the swm3 or swm5 that is an au9 dish with a swm-8 switch built in to the lnb, it only has one coaxial output that goes to the splitter to distribute it out to the boxes. this dish cannot go over eight tuners period. it is designed more for smaller tract homes where wires are coming out of house to cable demark, you run one wire from dish to that spot and put your 2,4,or 8 way splitter and wahlah! for custom always run 4 from dish to distribution and then you have option of 1,2,4,or 6 SWM8 via the different chassis kits available.
